Holiday break

One week of holiday break.. sounds shiok? think again.. One effective comm group discussion and essay to do, one maths quiz and one chem quiz waiting for mi when school reopens... However, being a slacker, i'm haf decided to make this week a real break for mi.. haha.. gaming continues, but now still doing the discussion and essay, and i haf revised some work for my quizzes... there r other miscellaneous activities such as late night champion league matches, hospital visit, hall production ticket stuff and photo taking, lending a hand for my senior Liwei with his Final Year Project...

But i'm definitely not the only slacker around, i haf to keep on pestering her to start doing her work or studying her quiz... haha, even worse den mi... :p however, not everyone is juz as relaxed as mi... met a haggard Jingying with her stressed up look on her handphone outside her room, think her work has really taken a toll on her... God bless her, miss twiggy...

Damn shagged

Thurs night, her friends came to sleepover, play mahjong wif them, sleep at 4am..
Fri morning, wake up for 8.30am lesson, afternoon nap 3 hours..
Fri night, night cycling from east coast, bedok, hougang, orchard, back east coast...
The above written, in short sentences cos, i'm too shagged to, write them in full... worse still, we took mrt, from jurong east to yio chu kang, but slept past, took train back up again from bishan, onli to hear tat, it terminated service, at ang mo kio... nuff said...

New face, new life

yeah, change my blogskin... nice rite..!!! but the slacker spirit is still there, wahahaha.... thanx to her cos she found this skin for mi.. wif her, i haf started a new life, new chapter in my life...

happy happy day... slept four hours straight after lesson ended at 12.30pm... so shiok... cos previous night study physics quiz like siao... tamade, quiz onli test on basic concepts, waste my time..!!! Got to b a DJ for the 1st time for the hall social event, so fun... but unable to play all the songs due to time constraint and the invasion of JCRC president and his members, wahahaha... my future depends on them loh, so dare not stop them from playing any song they like... and coming friday night is night cycling event... yeah... and although next week is holiday break, still got group assignment to discuss, make-up lab and chemistry quiz after tat... plan to part-time oso cannot...

Chinese New Year

8/2 CNY Eve - Chu Xi
It was kinda routine every year... having reunion dinner at my dad's friend house wif his family, but went home watch tv instead of going out to chinatown to enjoy the festive spirit... so sian, should haf jio her..

9/2 CNY 1st day - Chu Yi
Usual places, back to the my dad's friend house for simple lunch and bai nian... den go 2nd uncle's house and other relatives' houses to bai nian... evening, had steamboat for dinner... seems like any other day to mi, except tat cannot go shopping cos all the shops r closed!!!

10/ CNY 2nd day - Chu Er
Went to my 2nd uncle's place to haf a sumptuous lunch wif their family.. den went tamp hq to bai nian... after tat, went home slack... so boring... want to do tutorial oso sian...

11/2 CNY 3rd day - Chu San
Normal school day!!! going crazy wif all the make-up lectures and tutorials, lessons stretched until 7.30pm... the longest day ever.. lecture, break, lecture, break, tutorial, can die loh... unlike someone who go out shopping.. argh.. but at least i haf my games to accompany mi... damn sian, got physics quiz next week and lab report to submit, still in holiday mood!!!

Super Sunday

Had a tired Sunday, starting in the morning is the usual soccer routine which left mi more scratches, bruises and cramps whenever i kena tackled... felt rusty due to the long absence of practice and lack of exercise... but wat i'm looking forward for is the "once-in-a-year?" shopping spree for my new year clothes!!! unlike the ladies out there who can shop all year round and buy countless clothes, i often found myself too poor to indulge in this habit (although sometimes i will buy something on impulse if i really really like it...)

For the past years, i usually did this shopping spree alone as i can shop at my own pace, but now it feels different wif her around... as it is close to CNY, there seems to b endless streams of ppl coming in from the entrances of the shopping centre... clothes r snapped up faster den usual, and we spend minimum time lingering around and shop-hop wif maximum efficiency, searching for the nicer clothes and better deals... very satisfied wif my ending products, tink next time haf to consider buying them earlier b4 CNY, tink they inflate the prices to take advantage... bloody economists... :p

Impresario

This is my second time i've been to such concert cum competition.. the recent one is the xqrj thingy held in NUS, as recorded on my 25th Jan entry... The feeling is a bit different, starting from the audience... I sat at the bottom, or downstairs for both occasions, but i had a much better but further view at NTU audit as the seats were like rising from the front to the back.. whereas NUS culture hall is almost flat, and i will c heads in front of mi... NTU has added a separate duet category and the modern dancing category which NUS does not include... quite refreshing... however, NUS invited "a bit more established" guest performances such as Cai Lee Lian and Cai Chun Jia, whereas we haf Maia the Singapore Idol finalist and yes933 very own Chou Chong Qing... yes, the latter has cut himself an album and came as a singer, not a host...

i agree wif Jingying tat the last duet group should haf won their category loh, they were pitch perfect loh!! All and all, most of the songs r quite ok and the singers haf some talent in singing... i remember one guy's name on stage "Passionova" cos i haf seen tat name b4 when he performed in NUS the xqrj thingy... ah.. somemore he won one of the awards here in NTU, so cunning, double the chances of winning.. but wat i enjoyed the most is the impressario video wif the Kungfu Hustle theme in it... damn funny, especially the "Bao Zu Po!!" (pardon those who didn't watch)... oh ya, tink the sms voting system in NTU is much more efficient and fun to use, especially ppl who can sms ANYTHING to the huge screen in front for everyone to c, whether to sabo ppl, suan ppl, make love confessions etc etc, impressed indeed...

Happy Birthday to Me !!!

Had an explosive and dynamic birthday celebration in my hostel room, birthday cake, birthday card, birthday song, birthday gift, birthday "ponding" and screaming from my hall mates, wat more can i ask for? of cos, there is the kiss to top it all off... Had seafood platter at Fish & Co. wif her, been a long time since savouring tat sumptuous and delicious dish, feel so nice eating wif her, but we didn't manage to go shopping for long as we ate for too long.. argh... fail our "buying objectives" we set b4 our dinner... and now, i haf to rush two tutorials for the next day...

To end it all, i haf to thank everyone in hall for their effort to celebrate my birthday, especially her, and those who wished mi "happy birthday" either through sms or msn... THANK YOU !!!
